The Tik Tok-style challenge "A Hero of Our Time" (hereinafter referred to as the Competition, Platform Competition) is held at several platforms of the XIII Eurasian Economic Youth Forum (hereinafter XIII EEFM) as part of the Congress of Strategists.

The co-organizer of the Competition on the platform of the Republic of Tajikistan is the Tajik National University, Dushanbe.

The final of the Contest will take place on April 26, 2023 at the main platform of the XIII EEFM at the Ural State University of Economics, Yekaterinburg, Russia.

The competition is held in order to find out to what extent its participants, using a video as a form of presentation of the competitive material and digital technologies for its distribution through social networks, are able to assess the nature of the influence of an individual on the socio-economic development of a country, region, locality, and also build the most important relationships between heroism and patriotism.

Competition objectives:

• Increasing the level of youth interest in economic sciences and in the development of socially useful projects in the economy and related fields.
• Formation in the younger generation of personal responsibility for the state and state of affairs in the socio-economic sphere and awareness of their role and place in the socio-economic development of their native country.
• Identification of potential personnel whose projects are of value to the economy and of interest to potential employers. 

Participants of the platform competition are students of colleges, technical schools, higher educational institutions, graduate students, applicants for a scientific degree, young scientists of universities of the Republic of Tajikistan under the age of 35 people.

In the qualifying round, individual participation or group participation of up to 5 people from organizations, educational institutions, regardless of the field of activity and position, is allowed.

Applications for participation in the competition and files with a link to the video posted on the YouTube channel are submitted until March 20, 2023 through the registration system of the EEFM website (eurasia-forum.ru), choosing during registration: Platform of the Republic of Tajikistan - the name of the Competition

Videos on the topic "A Hero of Our Time" are provided in the following areas:

• "The hero - a teacher of an educational institution";
• "The hero is an urban entrepreneur";
• "The hero is the mentor of the city's enterprise."

Platform Competition experts select the best video and publish the winning team on the Platorm Competition page from April 1 to 10, 2022.

1 team of 5 people goes to the international final of the Competition. If the winner of the qualifying round is an individual participant or a team of less than 5 people, the coordinator of the Platform Competition independently forms a finalist team from the participants who took the first five places in the qualifying round. 

From April 25 to April 28, 2023, the winning team of the qualifying round is sent to USUE (Yekaterinburg, Russia) for full-time participation in the international final of the Competition and the final events of the XIII EEFM.

Demonstration of videos of teams with comments, preparation and implementation of competition tasks by teams will take place on April 26, 2023 from 10.30 to 15.30 Yekaterinburg time, awarding - April 27, 2023 (the time of awarding will be announced later).

Participants of the Competition of the platform of the Republic of Tajikistan, who took from 1 to 5 places, are awarded with diplomas and small orders "Star of Eurasia". 

The winners and prize-winners of the international finals of the Competition are awarded with diplomas, orders and cash prizes:

• for 1st place - 7 thousand rubles.
• for 2nd place - 5 thousand rubles.
• for 3rd place - 3 thousand rubles.

The winners of the Competition, awarded with the Diploma of the 1st degree, are awarded points for individual achievements in admission to study at USUE for master's programs - 2 points; bachelor's degree (education according to individual curricula in accelerated terms - graduates of colleges, technical schools) - 5 points.
