The EEYF is a powerful resource for realizing the ideas and opportunities of young people with the support of experienced experts.

Mission of the Forum: Unification of intellectual youth for the purposes of Eurasian integration.

Vision of the Forum: Creation of the Youth Center for Eurasian Integration in Yekaterinburg.

Acting year-round in the form of a system of scientific competitions, discussions, exhibitions, meetings, the EEYF acquires a new theme for each university academic year in accordance with the current trends in world economic development.

Schoolchildren, students, graduate students, young scientists and specialists aged 16 to 35 can become participants of the Forum.

CONGRESSES are the main structural units of the Forum, which include COMPETITIONS of youth projects and thematic EVENTS.

"Eurasian integration" is the creation of a model (development of conditions) for the conflict-free and sustainable development of all peoples and states living on the largest continent. Having gone through hundreds of wars and conflicts, through centuries of unlimited exploitation of natural resources, our mainland needs to build a new system of relations between man and nature, relations between peoples and states, and relations between people on the basis of the great cultural heritage of the peoples of the continent, their age-old moral and religious values. Eurasian integration is not the "abolition" of nations and nation-states, but a way to solve common problems facing people living on the continent.

EEYF results

The results of the XI Eurasian Economic Youth Forum "Russia and the regions of the world: the embodiment of ideas and the economy of opportunity" have been summed up. USUE Vice-Rector for Social Work Roman Krasnov outlined the main achievements and the following goals of the annual international event.

EEYF, which has long received the well-deserved title of "the main youth event of the Urals", in 2021 was held at USUE from April 20 to 23, gathered more than 5,000 participants from 64 countries and 74 Russian regions, among them representatives of 106 universities from Russia and the CIS countries. The guests of honor of the forum were 19 heads of diplomatic missions of foreign states, 39 representatives of diplomatic corps and 12 consulates. Every year the number and geography of participants in the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum is rapidly expanding.

It becomes clear that an event of this magnitude requires large areas. At the plenary meeting of the past EEYF, the Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region Evgeny Kuyvashev proposed to hold it in 2022 at the Ekaterinburg-EXPO site. “For the first time in the history of the EEYF, we held an event in two formats at once: in person and online for representatives of far-abroad universities.

Our partners this year are the largest Russian universities: the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, MGIMO, Moscow State University and the State Institute of the Russian Language. A.S. Pushkin. I would also note that the number of universities of the CIS countries exceeded the number of Russian ones among the participants, which indicates a growing international interest in our event,” said Roman Krasnov.

Thanks to the participation of ambassadors of foreign countries in the EEYF, USUE contributes to the implementation of the tasks set by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation on the export of education, and strengthens its international position.

The XI EEYF has surpassed the indicators of previous years in terms of the number of competitions for scientific works. There were 42 of them, which is 6 more than at the previous forum, many were organized jointly with experts from partner universities. Roman Krasnov also recalled the importance of continuing to work with the winners and prize-winners of the congresses. This year they were more than 3 hundred participants. In total, over the 6-year history of the forum, about a hundred finalists of various EEYF competitions continued their studies at the bachelor's, master's and postgraduate studies at USUE.
