The International Competition of Student Research Papers “Law and Business: Evolution and Innovation” is held at several venues of the XV Eurasian Economic Youth Forum (hereinafter XV EEYF) within the framework of the Congress of Strategists.

The co-organizer of the Competition on the site of the Republic of Tajikistan is the Tajik National University.

The aim of the Competition is to increase students’ interest in their chosen profession and to stimulate research activities in the field of economics and law.

Competition objectives:

• to identify the analytical potential of young lawyers and financiers;
• to stimulate the process of exchanging knowledge, ideas, experience in the use of mechanisms of legal regulation of economic processes, current legislation in the field of state and municipal administration;
• to ensure the integration of youth science with the global scientific research environment;
• to develop skills in conducting comparative legal research, developing recommendations for improving legislation;
• assessment of the current situation and strategic thoughts in the area of ​​development of the country and a specific territory.

Competition Directions:

• State regulation of entrepreneurship
• Economic and legal aspects of regulation of entrepreneurial activity
• Protection of the rights of entrepreneurs.
• Features of legal regulation of certain types of entrepreneurial activity.
• Legal regulation of digitalization in the field of entrepreneurial activity.
• Comparative analysis of legal regulation of business in the Russian Federation and the EAEU countries.
• Legal regulation of bankruptcy of business entities.
• Legal regulation of entrepreneurship under sanctions.
• Legal liability of entrepreneurs.

Participants of the Competition are students, postgraduates of educational organizations, academic institutes and other interested organizations of the Republic of Tajikistan aged 18 to 35 years.

Completed works, completed individually or collectively (teams of up to 3 people), are submitted to the competition.

Applications for participation in the Competition and abstracts are submitted before March 20, 2025 through the registration system of the website: Republic of Tajikistan site – name of the Competition.

The lists of competition winners invited to the in-person defense of their works and to participate in the final events of the Forum will be published on the competition page from April 1 to 10, 2024.

The International Final of the Competition will take place on April 23, 2025 from 10.30 to 13.30 (Yekaterinburg time) at the Ural State University of Economics, Yekaterinburg, Russia.

The award ceremony for the finalists of the Site Competition and the finalists of the International Final of the Competition will take place on April 24, 2025, simultaneously (via video link) at two sites:

• at the main site of the XV EEYF at the Ural State University of Economics (hereinafter USUE), Yekaterinburg, Russia;
• at the site of the Republic of Tajikistan XV EEYF in the Tajik National University, Tajikistan

The winners and prize winners of the Competition will be awarded with diplomas and cash prizes:

• 15,000 rubles - for 1 place
• 10 000 rubles - for 2 place
• 5 000 rubles - for 3 place

The winners of the Competition, awarded a 1st degree Diploma, are awarded points for individual achievements when applying for admission to study at USUE in master's programs (2 points).

Following the final events, it is planned to publish a collection of materials of the XV EEYF, where the abstracts of the finalists of the Competition will be posted. The collection will be posted in the Russian Science Citation Index and on the website of the Ural State University of Economics.
