The international essay competition for young scientists and students "Modern trends in the economic development of the world" (hereinafter referred to as the Competition, Platform Competition) is held at several platforms of the XIII Eurasian Economic Youth Forum (hereinafter XIII EEYF) as part of the Congress of Strategists.

The co-organizer of the Competition at the site of the Republic of Kazakhstan is the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov, Astana

The final of the Competition will take place on April 26, 2023 at the same time:

• at the main platform of the XIII EEFM at the Ural State University of Economics (hereinafter referred to as USUE), Yekaterinburg, Russia;
• at the plaform of the Republic of Azerbaijan XIII EEFM at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, Baku 

The purpose of the Competition is to create a platform for young scientists and specialists, which provides an opportunity to discuss the problems of improving the quality of training of specialists, increasing the interest of young scientists and students in their chosen profession, identifying gifted youth and building human resources for research, administrative, industrial and entrepreneurial activities.

Participants of the Platform Competition are students of colleges, technical schools, higher educational institutions, graduate students, applicants for a scientific degree, young scientists of universities, academic institutions, as well as employees of other interested organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan aged 18 to 35 years.

Research papers for the Competition can only be submitted by individual authors.

Research papers and projects are submitted for the Competition in the following areas:

• "End-to-End Technologies of the Digital Economy".
• "Multipolar world in the focus of new reality".
• "Actual problems of formation of investment attractiveness of the country".

Applications for participation in the Competition and competition works (essays) are submitted until March 20, 2023 through the registration system of the XIII EEFM website (eurasia-forum.ru), choosing during registration: Platform of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Astana - the name of the Competition.

Experts of the Platform Competition select up to 5 best works (essays) to participate in the International Finals of the Competition.

The lists of the finalists of the Competition from the platform of the Republic of Kazakhstan will be published on the page of the Competition of the platform of the EEFM website from April 1 to April 10, 2023.

The final defense of the works will take place on April 26, 2023 (10.30-13.30 Ekaterinburg time - 11.30-14.30 Astana time), awarding - April 27, 2023 (the time of awarding will be announced later).

At the same time, the participant who takes 1st place in the qualifying round will be sent at the expense of the organizers of the XIII EEFM to USUE for full-time participation in the final of the Competition and other events of the XIII EEFM.

The rest of the participants who took 2-5 places in the qualifying round will take part in the final of the Competition online from the platform of the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov, Astana

All finalists of the Competition of the platform of the Republic of Kazakhstan are awarded with diplomas and small orders "Star of Eurasia".

The winner and prize-winners of the international final of the Contest are awarded with diplomas and cash prizes:

• for 1st place - 7 thousand rubles.
• for 2nd place - 5 thousand rubles.
• for 3rd place - 3 thousand rubles.

The winners of the Competition, awarded with the Diploma of the 1st degree, are awarded points for individual achievements in admission to study at USUE for master's programs (2 points), bachelor's programs (accelerated learning according to individual curricula - graduates of colleges, technical schools) (5 points).

Based on the results of the final events, it is planned to publish a collection of abstracts of the finalists of the Competition with placement in the RSCI and on the EEFM website.
