The International Competition of Research Projects “Food Security” (hereinafter the Competition, the Competition Site) is held at several sites of the XV Eurasian Economic Youth Forum (hereinafter the XV EEYF) within the framework of the Congress of Entrepreneurship and Engineering.

The co-organizer of the Competition on the site of the Kyrgyz Republic, Bishkek, is the Kyrgyz Economic University named after M. Ryskulbekov.

The purpose of the competition: to intensify the research work of students of educational institutions, young scientists of research organizations and young practitioners - representatives of the business community and specialized organizations for the purpose of practical application of knowledge and practical development of skills related to current issues of food security at the national and global levels in the context of modern socio-economic realities.

Competition participants: students studying in secondary vocational education programs, bachelor's, specialist's and master's programs, postgraduate students, young researchers of universities, research institutes, as well as representatives of other specialized organizations of the Kyrgyz Republic under the age of 25, with the exception of persons who do not have an academic degree.

Research papers for the Competition may only be submitted by individual authors.

Research papers and projects are submitted to the Competition in the following areas:

1. "Food systems: technologies, innovations, quality and safety";
2. "Innovations in the field of agro- and biotechnology, food and processing industry."

Applications for participation in the Competition and competition works are submitted before March 20, 2025 through the registration system of the XV EEYF website (eurasia-forum.ru), choosing during registration: Kyrgyz Republic Site, Bishkek - Competition name - direction name.

The experts of the Competition site select 1 best project in each direction of the Competition to participate in the International Final.

The lists of finalists of the Competition from the Kyrgyz Republic, Bishkek will be published on the Competition page of the EEYF website from April 1 to 10, 2025.

The final defense of the work will take place on April 23, 2025 (10.30-15.00 Yekaterinburg time).

In this case, the author of the best project will be sent at the expense of the organizers of the XV EEYF to the Ural State University of Economics (Yekaterinburg, Russia) for in-person participation in the International Final of the Competition and other final events of the XV EEYF.

The award ceremony for the finalists of the Site Competition and the finalists of the International Final of the Competition will take place on April 24, 2025, simultaneously (via video link) at two sites:

• at the main site of the XV EEYF at the Ural State University of Economics (hereinafter USUE), Yekaterinburg, Russia;
• on the site of the Kyrgyz Republic of Kazakhstan, Bishkek, XV EEYF at the Kyrgyz Economic University named after M. Ryskulbekov.

Winners and prize winners of each direction (section) of the Competition will be awarded diplomas and cash prizes:

• 25,000 rubles - for 1 place
• 15 000 rubles - for 2 place
• 10 000 rubles - for 3 place

The winners of the thematic areas of the international final of the Competition will be awarded diplomas and orders.

The winners of the Competition, awarded a 1st degree Diploma, are awarded points for individual achievements when applying for admission to study at USUE in master's programs (2 points).
