International competition of research papers of young scientists and students in a foreign language "Sociocultural connections as a basis for trusting relationships in the economy"

The international competition of scientific research works of young scientists and students in a foreign language “Sociocultural ties as a basis for trusting relationships in the economy” (hereinafter the Competition, the Competition of the site) is held at several sites of the XV Eurasian Economic Youth Forum (hereinafter the XV EEYF) within the framework of the Congress of Economists and Financiers.

The co-organizer of the Competition at the site of the Far Eastern Federal District of the Russian Federation is the Pacific National University, Khabarovsk, Russia.

The purpose of the Competition: to identify and develop the participants' creative abilities and interest in scientific research activities in the field of culture and its place in the national economy, to promote scientific knowledge and to justify the importance of socio-cultural ties as a qualitative factor in the economic development of countries and regions. The Competition is held to motivate young people to innovative development aimed at using the results of cultural and creative activities to expand and strengthen economic ties.

Participants of the Competition: students, master's students, postgraduates, applicants for an academic degree, young researchers from universities, academic institutes, as well as employees of other interested organizations aged 18 to 35 years from the Far Eastern Federal District (hereinafter referred to as participants).

Research papers are submitted to the Competition in the following areas:

1. Historical and cultural ties as a tool for deepening mutual understanding and developing economic cooperation;

2. The influence of Russian culture on the socio-economic development of countries and regions.

Completed works in a foreign language (English or Spanish), completed individually or in a team of two people, are submitted to the competition.

Applications for participation in the Competition are submitted before March 20, 2025 through the registration system of the XV EEYF website (eurasia-forum.ru), choosing during registration: Site of the Far Eastern Federal District of the Russian Federation, Khabarovsk – name of the Competition.

The lists of finalists of the Competition from the site of the Far Eastern Federal District of the Russian Federation will be published on the Competition page of the site of the EEYF website from April 1 to 10, 2025.

The final defense of the work will take place on April 23, 2025 (10.30-13.00 Yekaterinburg time).

The award ceremony for the finalists of the Site Competition and the finalists of the International Final of the Competition will take place on April 24, 2025, simultaneously (via video link) at two sites:

  • at the main site of the XV EEYF at the Ural State University of Economics (hereinafter USUE), Yekaterinburg, Russia;
  • at the site of the Far Eastern Federal District of the Russian Federation XV EEYF at the Pacific National University.

In this case, the participant (team captain) who took 1st place in the qualifying round will be sent at the expense of the organizers of the XV EEYF to USUE for in-person participation in the final of the Competition and other events of the XV EEYF.

All finalists of the Competition of the Far Eastern Federal District of the Russian Federation will be awarded certificates and small orders of the "Star of Eurasia".

Winners and prize winners of the international final of the Competition will be awarded diplomas, orders and cash prizes:

  • 15,000 rub. - for 1st place
  • 10,000 rub. - for 2nd place
  • 5,000 rub. - for 3rd place

The winner of the Competition, awarded a 1st degree Diploma, is awarded points for individual achievements when admitted to study at USUE in master's programs (2 points).

Following the final events, it is planned to publish a collection of materials of the XV EEYF, where the abstracts of the finalists of the Competition will be posted. The collection will be published in the RSCI and on the EEYF website.
