The International Online Olympiad is held at several venues of the XV Eurasian Economic Youth Forum (hereinafter XV EEYF) within the framework of the Congress of Economists and Financiers.

The co-organizer of the Competition at the site of the Far Eastern Federal District, Khabarovsk, is the Pacific National University.

The goal of the Olympiad is to increase the interest of the population in obtaining and expanding economic knowledge by revealing their abilities for economic analysis and their inclination towards economic thinking, and by establishing meta-subject connections between economic, political and social processes.

Participants of the Olympiad at the site: students, master's students, postgraduates, people interested in modern problems of economics and finance from the Far Eastern Federal District of Russia under the age of 35.

Applications for participation in the Competition are submitted before March 20, 2025 through the registration system of the XV EEYF website (eurasia-forum.ru), choosing during registration: Far Eastern Federal District Site - Competition name

The final of the Olympiad is held remotely, on the main competition day of the Forum, April 23, 2025, in the form of testing performed by participants on a specialized Olympiad website. The address of the specialized website and instructions for completing the tasks are sent in advance to the participant's e-mail address specified during registration on the EEYF website.

On the main competition day of the Forum, access to tasks opens. Time to complete a test task is 60 minutes. Number of questions is 40. Number of attempts to pass is 1.

All assignments include an assessment of the performance of professional competencies within the framework of the following disciplines: “World Economy”, “Foreign Economic Activity”, “National Economy”, “Regional Economy”, “Macroeconomics”, “Money, Credit, Banks”, “Finance”, “Political Science”, etc.

Based on the results of testing, the winner and prize winners of the Olympiad in the overall standings are determined, taking 1st, 2nd and 3rd places according to the number of points scored; as well as the winner and prize winners of foreign/regional sites that have chosen this Olympiad for the participants of their site.

The lists of the overall winner and prize winners of the Olympiad and the winner and prize winners of foreign/regional venues are published on the Olympiad page of the EEYF website.

The award ceremony for the winners and prize winners of the Olympiad will take place on April 24, 2025, in person, simultaneously at the USUE site and at the foreign/regional sites of the Olympiad via video conferencing.

The overall winner and prize winners of the Olympiad will be awarded diplomas, orders and cash prizes:

• 15,000 rubles – for 1st place
• 10,000 rubles – for 2nd place
• 5,000 rubles – for 3rd place

The winner of the Olympiad, awarded a 1st degree Diploma, is awarded points for individual achievements when admitted to study at USUE in master's programs (2 points).
