USUE Russian Language Center in Sri Lanka hosted the first graduation ceremony
The USUE Russian Language Center, based at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura in Colombo, Sri Lanka, held its first graduation ceremony. Roman Krasnov, USUE Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Youth Policy, attended the event.
The ceremony also highlighted a key milestone in the development of the project, which started in 2024. On behalf of the university’s leadership, Roman Krasnov congratulated the first graduates and presented them diplomas. Twenty-one students successfully mastered the curriculum. At the same time, they announced the start of classes for the third group of 20 students.
Today, the Russian Language Centre in Colombo is conducting active training:
- The first group (21 students) completed their studies.
- The second group (16 students), started in May 2024, proceeds with mastering the program.
- The third group (20 students) has just begun its classes.
Thus, the total number of students at the Center amounts to 57. The ceremony clearly shows the successful implementation of USUE’s international educational project and contributes to strengthening academic and cultural cooperation between Russia and Sri Lanka.
