Over 10,000 people have registered for EEYF-2026

We will host the main youth economic forum of the year from April 21 through April 24. The theme of the 16th EEYF will be “Eurasian Synergy: Ethnic Unity of Russia in the Era of Global Change.”

“This year, the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum will be about the consolidation and unity of the peoples of Russia. I expect around 100 countries will take part in the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum. Ambassadors and diplomats have already signed up, and around 40 universities have confirmed their participation. We will discuss important topics, such as the challenges facing higher education and ways to address them. It’s also important for us to hear the voices of young people, and they do speak to us, as we see from the number of papers submitted last year—over 17,000,” USUE acting rector Yakov Silin noted.

The key events in April will include a plenary session, a diplomatic forum, a rectors’ forum, and a media forum. Other events will include the Schoolchildren’s Congress, Digital Eurasia, Congress of Management and Law, Congress of Economists and Financiers, Congress of Entrepreneurship and Engineering, and Congress of Strategists.

Over 22,000 people from 86 regions of Russia and 116 countries gathered to exchange experiences, ideas, and discuss global trends at the 15th Eurasian Economic Forum in 2025. The forum took place at 14 venues at leading universities in St. Petersburg, Astana, Bishkek, Dushanbe, Baku, Minsk, Khabarovsk, Kaliningrad, Tashkent, Osh, Almaty, Belgrade, Harbin, and Colombo. Sixty-four heads of Russian and international universities, 70 diplomatic officials, and 68 media outlets participated.

Schoolchildren, students, postgraduates, young scientists, and specialists aged 16 to 35 are eligible to participate in the forum. The registration started on December 15.
