We welcome the XIII EEYF finalists from St. Petersburg

Over 50 students and young scientists from universities of the Northwestern Federal District of Russia took part in the competitions of the XIII Eurasian Economic Youth Forum at St. Petersburg State University of Economics (UNECON).

For the second year in a row, UNECON has become the EEYF platform. As in 2022, Petersburgers focused on the international research competition “Future’s Quality: The New Reality of Sustainable Development”. Members of the expert commission - experts in economics and finance - assessed research projects aimed at preserving and increasing the potential of mankind. The winner in this competition was a student of the St. Petersburg Institute of the All-Russian State University of Justice (RLA of the Ministry of Justice of Russia), Nikita Stroev, with the work “Quality of Life and Environment: Transition to Green Economy”.

Aleksei Vershinin became the regional winner of the international competition of research works of young scientists and students “Assessment of Regulatory Impact in State and Municipal Management”. A student of St. Petersburg University of Management Technologies and Economics has developed guidelines for the digital transformation of the logistics sector in the face of sanctions. The students of St. Petersburg State University of Economics, Angelina Afanasyeva and Valeria Gladkikh, won the competition of youth business projects “Business Eurasia.” They presented to the experts a student platform project - Student Start, which should help university graduates find a job and join the professional environment.

Three participants and team captains, whose works won the first places, will take in-person part in the international finals of the competitions at the primary site of the XIII EEYF in Yekaterinburg. Winners of the “Business Eurasia” and “Assessment of Regulatory Impact in State and Municipal Management” competitions will also be able to compete, but in an online format.

Within the XIII Eurasian Economic Youth Forum, 45 competitions will be held as part of six Congresses: Congress of Innovators, Congress of Management and Law; Congress of Economists and Financiers; Congress of Entrepreneurship and Engineering, Congress of Strategists, and Congress of Schoolchildren.
