One expert for every 8 participants

Over 1,000 students and young scientists have applied for participation in the competitions of the Congress of Entrepreneurship and Engineering of the XIII Eurasian Economic Youth Forum, which will be held in Yekaterinburg on April 26.

This congress is the leader in the number of international Olympiads and contests. Among them are the ProTourism2023 (start-up competition in tourism and hospitality), Innovative Eurasia Olympiad, and Tournament of Natural Sciences.

As part of the applied project competition “Trento Marketing Challenge”, students will take part in English-language consulting projects organized in cooperation with one of the leading universities in the northeast of Italy.

The international intellectual game on the economic problems of the countries of Eurasia, Africa, Latin America and Russia will be held in the brain -ring format. Teams will compete in speed, accuracy, and answering logic. The responsible organizer of the game will be the Best Captain of the “What? Where? When?” Club, winner of two Crystal Owls, Aleksei Blinov. The prize for the first place will be 15,000 rubles.

Those who prefer to shine with brainpower single-handedly will try their hand in the international essay contest in English - “Social Justice: Problems, Discussions, Solutions”. The authors of the best works will also receive money prizes.

“Now we have a preliminary selection of works that will take part in the final stage. Unfortunately, it is impossible to reward everyone out of over 1000 participants. But the jury judges as fairly as possible,” explained the congress coordinator, deputy director of the USUE Institute of Management, Entrepreneurship and Engineering Vladimir Lazarev.

Over 120 experts — scientists and practitioners — are involved in assessing the works of the congress participants. Besides, annually, during the days of the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum, they run the international conference “Innovative Technologies in Food Industry and Public Catering”. In 2023, it will be held for the tenth time.

The finals of all competitions will take place from 24 to 28 April at USUE.
