The EEYF organizing committee sums up the interim results of the preparations. The geography of participants is expanding. Representatives from 115 countries will come to USUE!
“This year, for the first time, the forum will be visited by official representatives of Brazil, Lebanon, Mexico, Mauritania, Zambia, Eritrea, and Bahrain. A delegate from Ghana will also come; diplomats from this country have been planning to visit us for a long time, and a few days ago they confirmed their visit,” says Roman Krasnov, chair of the XIV EEYF organizing committee, USUE vice-rector for social work and youth policy.
Last year, the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum brought together representatives from 107 countries. Within the framework of the EEYF, specialists in international relations meet not only with colleagues but also with compatriot students. Students address diplomats with a variety of questions: from forecasts of relations between countries to problems with transferring money to Russian banks because of Western sanctions.
Besides diplomats, 53 rectors and vice-rectors of universities from different countries confirmed their participation in the XIV Eurasian Economic Forum, and over 600 scientists will speak at EEYF as experts.
The theme of the XIV Eurasian Economic Youth Forum is “Russia-Eurasia-World. Integration-Development-Perspective". It will take place from April 22 to April 26, 2024. There will be almost 50 competitions where high school seniors, students and young scientists will present their research papers. As for now, over 12 thousand people from all over the world have applied as participants. The registration will last until March 20, 2024.
