From Belgrade to Harbin
Belgrade Banking Academy (Serbia) and Harbin Institute of Petroleum (People’s Republic of China) will become international venues for the 15th Eurasian Economic Youth Forum. Foreign universities will host national rounds of student research paper competitions.
As of today, higher education institutions from 9 countries have confirmed participation in the 15th EEYF: Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Serbia, the People’s Republic of China, and Sri Lanka. The co-organizers of the large-scale event will be Belarusian State University of Economics, Almaty Technological University, Osh State University, Tashkent State University of Economics, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Tajik National University, M. Ryskulbekov Kyrgyz University of Economics, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Belgrade Banking Academy, Harbin Institute of Petroleum, and Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
In Russia, the central platform will be Ural State University of Economics in Yekaterinburg. For the first time, Pacific States University (Khabarovsk) will act as a co-organizer of the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum. Besides, long-standing and reliable USUE partners will hold regional rounds for some competitions of the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum at their sites: the Western branch of RANEPA in Kaliningrad and St. Petersburg State University of Economics.
The 15th EEYF breaks records in the number of people wishing to participate! According to the organizing committee, 12,273 applications have already been submitted. Registration on the official website will end on March 20.
The 15th Eurasian Economic Youth Forum will be held from April 21 to 25, 2025. Its participants will try their hand in 63 competitions. Traditionally, within EEYF, they will hold such large-scale events as a media forum, diplomatic forum, rectors’ forum, and the Ural Queen rapid chess tournament named after A.E. Karpov.
The Eurasian Economic Youth Forum is a launching pad for the career and personal growth of young people to realize their creative potential in science, project activities, and entrepreneurship. In 2024, the 14th EEYF was the largest in the forum’s history with over 17,000 participants from 114 countries and 81 regions of Russia.
