Students and schoolchildren can take part in the international competition of children and youth creativity, “I Am an Artist. The UN Sustainable Development Goals Through the Eyes of Youth”. Entries are accepted until March 20. The works of young artists will be placed at the online exhibition. Up to April 1, 2023, online voting for the best work will be open.

International competition of children’s and youth creativity “I Am an Artist. The UN Sustainable Development Goals Through the Eyes of Youth” is held as part of the Congress of Innovators and the Congress of Schoolchildren at the XIII Eurasian Economic Youth Forum. Participants range in age from 13 to 25.

The competition accepts creative works made individually or by teams of up to three people in the following categories: painting, graphics, arts and crafts, photography, sculpture, and design.

The creative areas of the competition coincide with the UN sustainable development goals.

In order to apply, you need to make a photo and description of your creative work and register on the XIII EEYF website by selecting the columns: Participant - USUE - Specific competitions - International competition of children’s and youth creativity “I Am an Artist. The UN Sustainable Development Goals Through the Eyes of Youth”.

When registering, schoolchildren shall put a dash in the columns “Institute / Faculty” and “Area of training”, but shall state their school number and grade.

All the works of the participants will be placed on the online exhibition. Until April 1, 2023, online voting will be open for EEYF guests and exhibition visitors.

At the next stage, a commission of experts from the UN Information Center in Moscow, USUE and the UNESCO club “Sovushka” will select 15 best works. And the final stage will take place on April 25, 2023 at the Festival of Cultures “Around the World” to be held as part of the XIII Eurasian Economic Youth Forum (at EC “Yekaterinburg-Expo (MTS live hall)”, Expo Boulevard str., 2).

The competition is organized by Ural State University of Economics and UNESCO Club “Sovushka”. The partners are the United Nations Information Centre in Moscow, with the support of the Interim Committee for the Accreditation of UNESCO Clubs under the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
