Focus on far-abroad countries
The 15th Eurasian Economic Youth Forum has new partner universities. This year, students and young scientists will take part in events at 14 international venues. This is an absolute record for the entire period of the EEYF!
For the first time, higher education institutions from Serbia, China, and Sri Lanka joined the EEYF as co-organizers. These are the University of Sri Jayewardenepura (Colombo), Harbin Institute of Petroleum, and Belgrade Banking Academy.
Besides, the foreign co-organizers of the large-scale event, as in previous years, will be the Belarusian State Economic University, Almaty Technological University, Osh State University, Tashkent State University of Economics, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Tajik National University, M. Ryskulbekov Kyrgyz University of Economics, and Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
In Russia, the central venue for the anniversary EEYF will be Ural State University of Economics (Yekaterinburg). For the first time, Pacific National University (Khabarovsk) will act as an EEYF co-organizer. Additionally, regional rounds for some competitions of the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum will be held at the Western branch of RANEPA in Kaliningrad and St. Petersburg State University of Economics.
“The Eurasian Economic Youth Forum is a kind of annual synchronization of watches. What we have achieved, what awaits us in the future, with whom we should establish cooperation. We are talking about integration and development of coordination of activities. We are joining forces to become stronger and overcome all fences, barriers and sanctions,” USUE Rector Yakov Silin notes.
“Eurasian Synergy: Multipolarity — Integration — Dialogue of Civilizations” is the theme of the 15th EEYF, which will be held from 21 to 25 April 2025 in Yekaterinburg. Traditionally, these days will feature such large-scale events as a meeting of foreign ambassadors with students, Media Forum, Forum of Diplomats, Forum of Rectors, and the Ural Queen rapid chess tournament named after A.E. Karpov. As of today, 16,096 persons from 74 regions of Russia and 105 countries have applied for participation. Among them there are 43 diplomatic officials from the CIS countries, Asia, Latin America, Africa, and Europe, 67 rectors and vice-rectors of leading universities in Russia, near and far abroad, and 36 media executives, including representatives of Channel One, Russia Today, Rossiyskaya Gazeta, TV-3, and others.
Apart from that, 731 experts have already confirmed their participation. They will evaluate the research papers of schoolchildren, students, young teachers and scientists within 63 competitions. The registration on the official website will end on March 20.

The Eurasian Economic Youth Forum is a launching pad for the career and personal growth of young people to realize their creative potential in science, project activities, and entrepreneurship. In 2024, the 14th EEYF was the largest in the forum’s history with over 17,000 participants from 114 countries and 81 regions of Russia.
