GEOGRAPHY EXPANDING!

The XV Eurasian Economic Youth Forum has gained new venues. In total, this year students and young scientists will take part in events at 14 international venues.

In Russia, the central platform will be Ural State University of Economics. For the first time, Pacific National University (Khabarovsk) will act as a co-organizer of the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum. Besides, the Western branch of RANEPA in Kaliningrad and St. Petersburg State University of Economics will also host regional rounds of some EEYF competitions.

 

This year, the new venues of the forum will be the University of Sri Jayewardenepura (Sri Lanka), Harbin Petroleum Institute (China), and Belgrade Banking Academy (Serbia). As in previous years, the foreign co-organizers of the large-scale event will be Belarusian State University of Economics, Almaty Technological University, Osh State University, Tashkent State University of Economics, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Tajik National University, M. Ryskulbekov Kyrgyz University of Economics, and Azerbaijan State University of Economics.

As of today, diplomats and ambassadors from 20 countries have confirmed their participation, including Bosnia and Herzegovina, Chad, Ecuador, Colombia, Yemen, Burkina Faso, and Peru. Higher education institutions from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Serbia, the People’s Republic of China, and Sri Lanka have already confirmed their attendance.

 

The XV EEYF is already breaking records in the number of people wishing to participate. The forum’s organizing committee reports 14,334 applications. Registration on the official website will end on March 20.

The 15th Eurasian Economic Youth Forum will take place from 21 to 25 April 2025. Participants will try their hand at 63 competitions. Within EEYF, they will hold such large-scale events as a media forum, diplomatic forum, rectors’ forum, and the Ural Queen rapid chess tournament named after A.E. Karpov.

The Eurasian Economic Youth Forum is a launching pad for the career and personal growth of young people to realize their creative potential in science, project activities, and entrepreneurship. In 2024, the 14th EEYF was the largest in the forum’s history with over 17,000 participants from 114 countries and 81 regions of Russia.
