XIII EEYF grows with partners

Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation (FinU) expressed its desire to become a partner and co-organizer of the XIII Eurasian Economic Youth Forum.

This was stated directly by the FinU Rector Stanislav Prokofiev. “On behalf of the Financial University and on my behalf, I express my gratitude and hope for fruitful cooperation,” he said in a letter addressed to USUE Rector Yakov Silin.

This is not the first capital-based university that wished to act as a co-organizer of EEYF. Previously, USUE’s partners in the forum were Lomonosov Moscow State University., Moscow State Institute of International Relations, Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, and Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.

The history of the Financial University begins in 1919. This is one of the first universities founded in the post-revolutionary years. For more than a hundred years, the Prime Ministers and Ministers of the USSR and Russia studied within its walls. In the modern history of our country, businessman Mikhail Prokhorov, the Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation Anton Siluanov, and former Prime Minister Sergei Stepashin completed their degrees at this university.

In 2022, at XII EEYF, a student of the Financial University, Vera Kislitsyna, took first place in the ProTourism-2022 international youth competition for startups in the tourism and hospitality industry.

In 2023, the forum will be held on April 24 - 28. Besides USUE, such universities as St. Petersburg State University of Economics, Vladivostok State University, Belarusian State Economic University, M. Ryskulbekov Kyrgyz Economic University, Tajik National University, Tashkent State University of Economics, and Almaty Technological University will be the forum venues.
