EEYF conquers South Asia

For the first time, the University of Sri Jayewardenepura will act as an international venue for the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum in Sri Lanka. Besides, 10 universities from Russia and the CIS countries have confirmed their participation in the 15th EEYF as co-organizers.

 

Ural State University of Economics in Yekaterinburg will be the central venue of the large-scale event. Two more Russian universities - the Western branch of RANEPA in Kaliningrad and the St. Petersburg State University of Economics - will hold regional rounds of some EEYF competitions at their sites.

National rounds will be held abroad at 8 universities in Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. The following universities have already confirmed their participation as co-organizers of the XV EEYF: Azerbaijan State University of Economics, Osh State University, M. Ryskulbekov Kyrgyz University of Economics, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Almaty Technological University, Belarusian State University of Economics, Tajik National University, and Tashkent State University of Economics.

The 15th Eurasian Economic Youth Forum is scheduled for April 21-25, 2025. Its participants will try hand at 63 competitions. Traditionally, during the EEYF, such large-scale events as Media Forum, Forum of Diplomats, Forum of Rectors, and the Ural Queen rapid chess tournament named after A.E. Karpov will take place.

 

The Eurasian Economic Youth Forum is a launching pad for the career and personal growth of young people to realize their creative potential in science, project activities, and entrepreneurship. In 2024,the 14th EEYF was the largest in the forum's history with over 17,000 participants from 114 countries and 81 regions of Russia.
