Welcome!

“Russia-Eurasia-the World. Integration-Development-Perspective” - this is the theme of the XIV Eurasian Economic Youth Forum, which USUE hosts from April 22 to April 26, 2024.

Today, the first guests of the forum began to gather at the university at 8 a.m. Registering participants opened at 8:30 sharp. The Schoolchildren Congress started at 10:00, followed by the Media Forum, which brought together over 50 media representatives.

Guests of the XIV EEYF are greeted by our volunteers. In total, about 200 students are involved in EEYF events as volunteer assistants, 30 of them are translators. Every day they will communicate with thousands of forum guests who came to Yekaterinburg from 114 countries: international students, leading experts in economics, diplomats, and rectors of universities in the CIS countries.

“This is my third year in a row. I am pleased to feel part of such a grandiose event,” a volunteer, a third-year student of the USUE Institute of Public Administration and Law, Sofya Pershina, shared her emotions.

Our volunteers create the mood of the XIV EEYF! They are the ones who have the widest and most sincere smiles today and the very responsible job of welcoming forum guests!

“I stand at the information desk and help guests figure out the program if they don’t know where to go. Last year, at the EEYF I worked as a helper, including going to the governor’s residence. Now I’m just pleased to be here: people come, you greet them and get energized, it’s especially interesting to communicate with foreigners, they like everything so much!” a second-year student of the USUE Institute of Digital Management systems and Information Security, Alexandra Chunareva, says.

Ahead of the forum participants, there is a discussion of the prospects for cooperation and building a trajectory for the future. They will enjoy public lectures, master-classes, reports, discussions, meetings of ambassadors with students and schoolchildren, a forum of rectors, competitions for the defense of research papers by students and young scientists. In total, during the forum, there will be 50 competitions, and their winners will receive additional impetus for professional development and the implementation of their ideas.

Even the Ural weather today greets our guests with special cordiality. We wish the participants fruitful work!
