The 16th EEYF is just a month and a half away
“Eurasian Synergy: Ethnic Unity of Russia in the Era of Global Change” is the theme of the 16th Eurasian Economic Forum (EEYF), which will be held in Yekaterinburg under the auspices of USUE from April 21 to 24, 2026. Traditionally, these days will feature large-scale events such as the Media Forum, the meeting of foreign ambassadors with students—“Dialogue on Equal Terms”, the Diplomatic Forum, and the Rectors’ Forum.

As usual, the opening of EEYF will take place at the Yekaterinburg-EXPO International Exhibition Center. The Diplomatic Forum will be held for the first time at the Sevastyanov House. The Rectors’ Forum will also be held there.
To date, 18,932 persons have applied to participate, including 42 diplomats from Iraq, the Republic of Burundi, Côte d’Ivoire, Lebanon, Ecuador, Sri Lanka, Argentina, Mexico and other foreign countries; 67 rectors and vice-rectors of Russian universities, as well as universities in Uzbekistan, China, and Kazakhstan; 30 federal and regional media outlets from the Republic of Belarus, Serbia, Kyrgyzstan, Moscow, Khabarovsk, Surgut, and Vladivostok.
463 experts have already confirmed their participation. They will evaluate the research papers of schoolchildren, students, young teachers, and scientists within 41 competitions.
The Eurasian Economic Youth Forum is a launching pad for young people’s career and personal growth in science, project work, and entrepreneurship, as well as for realizing their creative potential. The 15th EEYF was the largest in the forum’s history. In 2025, it was attended by over 22,000 people from 116 countries of the world and 86 regions of Russia.
