See you soon on the fields of the 16th EEYF!
Exactly one month from now, Yekaterinburg will host an international event that annually brings together politicians, diplomats, young professionals from various economic sectors, university administrators, students, and schoolchildren. The deadline for student submissions to participate in this large-scale event is March 25.

According to preliminary estimates, over 22,000 people have already submitted applications to the organizing committee of the 16th Eurasian Economic Forum (EEYF). This is one of the leading economic events organized by Russian universities, and it has a long and illustrious history that began 16 years ago with a unique game.
In 2009, USUE hosted the International Youth Foresight Game “SCO-2039,” bringing together 200 participants from nine countries (Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Belarus, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Armenia, Mongolia, and China). The participants presented how the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s activities would be arranged in 30 years and what issues would be of importance for the world. During the game, they “made” political and social decisions and conducted multilateral negotiations. They even developed a concept for a single supranational currency. Following the successful outcome of the event, USUE management concluded that students needed to be given a space to express their views on economic development and to interact with successful and prominent experts in this field.
Since then, each year, EEYF events held in Yekaterinburg have attracted the interest of both youth and adults, uniting concerned citizens and generating the energy of consolidation, creation, and co-authorship.
The 16th Eurasian Economic Forum will be held from April 21 to 24, 2026. The forum’s theme is “Eurasian Synergy: Ethnic Unity of Russia in the Era of Global Change.” Discussion platforms will cover trade, economic, and international cooperation, the development of digitalization, and trends in education. Traditionally, young people will meet with foreign ambassadors, the heads of Russian and foreign universities will conduct business meetings, and a scientific competition program will involve schoolchildren, students, and young scientists. Participants will enjoy engaging presentations from prominent scientists, public and government figures, business executives, and heads of major media outlets.
