III Rapid Chess Tournament "Ural Queen" named after A.E. Karpov

Accreditation 11:00-11:50 (held in the mirror hall of the USUE House of Culture, entrance to the university from 8 March street)
- the concert program and the grand opening ceremony will be held from 12:00 to 13:00
- lunch break from 13:00 to 13:50
- start of the competition at 14:00
The planned number of participants is 80-100 people.
Purpose: development and popularization of chess among young people.
Tasks:
- attracting young people to chess for the purpose of intellectual, cultural and aesthetic development;
- improvement of opportunities and mechanisms of youth socialization.
- improving sportsmanship;
Chess players with 2nd category and above, from 12 to 25 years old (hereinafter referred to as participants), can take part in the competition.
Registration of participants is carried out on the website of the XIII Eurasian Economic Youth Forum http://eurasia-forum.ru/reg/ (sports events) until April 24, 2023.
Winners and prize-winners (from 1st to 6th place) are awarded with cash prizes:
- 30 000 rubles - for 1 place
- 25 000 rubles - for 2nd place
- 20 000 rubles - for 3rd place
- 15 000 rubles - for 4th place
- 7 000 rubles - for 5th place
- 3 000 rubles - for 6th place
Students of grades 10-11 and students of III-IV years of colleges - winners of the XIII Eurasian Economic Youth Forum (1-6 places of the Ural Queen tournament) - receive a certificate of the laureate of the XIII Eurasian Economic Youth Forum, and upon admission to study at USUE for a full-time bachelor's degree, they are awarded 5 (five) points for individual achievements.
Students enrolled in undergraduate programs - winners of the XIII Eurasian Economic Youth Forum (1-6 places in the Ural Queen tournament) - receive a Winner Diploma, and upon admission to study at USUE for a full-time master's program, they are awarded 2 (two) points for individual achievements.
