The competition is organized to identify and develop the competitors’ creative abilities and interest in research work, as well as to develop professional competencies in the field of expert analytical and auditing activities. At the Competition site, participants will be given a unique opportunity to feel themselves in the role of a young scientist, expert, analyst, auditor, to receive assessment of their work from leading scientists and practitioners in the relevant fields, to expand the boundaries of their knowledge and potential capabilities both in the education system and in labor market.

The Competition program is aimed at identifying a wide range of problems related to the implementation of business analysis, expert activities in the field of management and law, government audit, control and supervision. 

Objectives of the competition: identifying talented youth and determining prospects for their further development, identifying and developing participants’ creative abilities and interest in research work, creating the necessary conditions to support young scientists, promoting scientific knowledge, attracting scientists and practitioners in relevant fields to work with youth, as well as identifying gifted youth and developing human resources for research, administrative, production and entrepreneurial activities. 

Directions of the Competition: 

Analytical activities

  1. Business analytics for change management.
  2. Building a business process management system.
  3. Building business architectures and complex business models.
  4. Managing the implementation of the strategy and assessing its effectiveness.
  5. Corporate information systems. 

Expert activity

  1. Examination of the current state of the elements of the political and legal system.
  2. Expert assessment of the effectiveness of industry legislation.
  3. Law in a digital reality: expert assessments.
  4. Forensic economic examinations: problems and prospects.

Auditing activities

  1. External and internal state financial control (audit) in the budgetary and financial sphere.
  2. Municipal financial control.
  3. Treasury control.
  4. Audit and control in the field of procurement.
  5. Responsibility for violations in the budgetary and financial sphere. 

Participants of the competition: undergraduate, specialist and master's students from universities in Russia and foreign countries, as well as employees of interested organizations under the age of 35.

On contest finished work is performed individually or collectively (teams up to 3 people).

Applications for participation in the Competition, competitive works and abstracts of work are submitted until March 20, 2024 through the website registration system:

  • an individual participant submits an application through the site’s registration system, selecting the “individual participation” category
  • team participation. Each team member submits an application for participation through the site’s registration system. Lists of competition finalists invited to defend their works in person and to participate in the final events of the Forum will be published on the competition page from 1 to April 10, 2024

The in-person defense will take place on April 24, 2024 from 10:30 to 15:30, awarding on April 25, 2024.

The winners and runners-up of the Competition are awarded diplomas, orders and cash prizes:

  • 15,000 rubles - for 1st place
  • 10,000 rubles - for 2nd place
  • 5,000 rubles - for 3rd place 

The winners of the Competition, awarded a 1st degree Diploma, are awarded points for individual achievements when admitted to study at USUE in master's programs (2 points).

The final will be held in person; in some cases, by decision of the Organizing Committee of the Competition, remote participation is possible.

Based on the results of the final events, it is planned to release a collection of materials from the XIV EEYF, where the abstracts of the Competition finalists will be posted. The collection will be posted in the RSCI and on the website of the (Ural State University of Economics (on the USUE website you can search at the link.
