International competition of the employers' cases «HR GROWTH»
Dolzhenko Svetlana Borisovna The international competition of employers' cases “HR GROWTH” is a project implemented by USUE together with the SROO EFassociation of managers and specialists in the field of human resource management and other professional HR communities, with the support of the Council for professional qualifications in the field of personnel management.
This is a professional case competition, the purpose of which is to create a tool for improving the quality of interaction between promising specialists in the field of personnel management, labor economics and their future employers. The project is aimed at developing professional competencies in young specialists, as well as assistance in finding places for internships, internships, and employment with leading companies in the region and the country.
Employers – partners of the competition will offer HR cases, the solution of which will allow assessing the level of knowledge and professional experience of the contestants. The contestants will present the results of the case solutions at the defense before the expert commission.
As a result, the best participants of the competition receive the opportunity to undergo an internship, industrial practice, and also an offer of employment (at the decision of the company representative - member of the expert jury) in order to test the proposed ideas.
An important element of the event is the educational component. In support of the competition, it is planned to hold training master classes and seminars with the participation of members of the competition jury - leading Russian and foreign experts in the HR sphere.
Participants of the Competition are students, postgraduates, young HR specialists aged 18 to 35 years.
Within the framework of the competition in 2025, two tracks will be implemented:
- the "Student" track - for students in bachelor's, specialist's, master's degree programs (without work experience or with up to 2 years of work experience in the field of personnel management, labor economics and related areas)
- the "Young Specialist" track (with more than 2 years of work experience in the field of personnel management, labor economics and related areas).Key deadlines:
- registration of an application for participation in the competition - up to and including March 1, 2025 (on the EEYF website)
- sending a set of cases to the registered Competition participant for selection and notification of the organizers about the preparation of a solution for a specific case - within a week after registration of the application on the website;
- acceptance of case solutions from participants - up to and including March 20, 2025 (case solutions are sent by reply letter to the Competition coordinator by email. Recommended file name: "Case No. - SurnameIO". Solution updates (including those recommended by coordinators) are subsequently sent to the coordinator by email;
- examination of case solutions registered and admitted to the Competition based on the results of the first stage - from March 21 to March 31, 2025.
- the general list of Competition finalists is published on the EEYF website, on the Competition page of the Congress of Management and Law - from April 1 to April 10, 2025.
- in-person defense will take place on April 23, 2025 from 10:30 to 16:30, the award ceremony will take place on April 24, 2025.
Based on the results of the in-person case defense, the organizers of the EEYF have provided cash prizes for the winners and runners-up of the Competition:
- 1st place – 15,000 rubles.
- 2nd place – 10,000 rubles.
- 3rd place – 5,000 rubles.
The winners of the Competition, awarded the 1st degree Diploma, are awarded points for individual achievements when applying for admission to study at USUE in master's programs (2 points).
