Competition of initiatives «Youth perspectives»

The competition of initiatives is aimed at finding solutions to a socio-economic case and developing a strategy for resolving the proposed problem situation. The goal of the competition is to develop the ability to analyze and identify a problem, offer reasonable solutions, relying on one's own experience and acquired knowledge, and formulate conclusions based on one's own view of the development of the situation.
The case will be solved individually in the qualifying round, and in the final round – in the form of group work.
The objectives of the Competition are to develop sustainable skills of rational thinking, projecting such thinking onto behavior and activities in life situations; developing analytical skills in participants, as well as forecasting multiple options for the development of situations with existing opportunities to find optimal solutions for getting out of them.
Competition Directions:
- Assessment of the political and legal system of the Russian Federation in the context of sanctions and sovereignty of the economy.
- Identification of possible reasons influencing the development of the country.
- Forecasting possible options for the development of socio-economic relations.
- Search, selection and formulation of options for optimal solutions for the long-term development of the state and society.
- Risk assessment and determination of directions for their elimination.
Competition participants: undergraduate, specialist and master's degree students from universities in Russia and abroad, as well as employees of interested organizations under the age of 35.
The Competition allows for individual participation in the qualifying round and group participation in the in-person final.
Applications for participation in the Competition must be submitted before March 21, 2025, through the website’s registration system.
After registration on the EEYF website, the participant will receive a login and password to the specified e-mail address to access the specialized resource of the Competition, as well as instructions on how to work with the case. Based on the results of the presented solutions to the case, the finalists of the Competition will be determined from March 22 to April 1, 2025.
The lists of Competition finalists invited to the in-person stage to participate in the final events of the Forum will be published on the Competition page from April 1 to 10, 2025.
The final will be held in person only.
The in-person round of the Competition will take place on April 23, 2025 from 10:30 to 15:30, the award ceremony will take place on April 24, 2025.
Winners and prize winners of the Competition will be awarded with diplomas, orders and cash prizes:
- 15,000 rubles - for 1st place
- 10,000 rubles - for 2nd place
- 5,000 rubles - for 3rd place
The winners of the Competition, awarded a 1st degree Diploma, are awarded points for individual achievements when applying for admission to study at USUE in master's programs (2 points).
