The international competition of research works "Ways to protect the rights and freedoms of man and citizen" is held by the Ural State University of Economics (USUE) in cooperation with the Novosibirsk State University of Economics and Management "NINH" (NSUEM). 

The purpose of the Competition is to realize the creative potential of young people in solving the problems of improving and developing the current legislation; increasing the interest of young people in the problems of protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens; facilitating the exercise of citizens' rights to judicial protection; attracting young people to public administration through their participation in the discussion of topical legal problems; promoting the dissemination and development of legal culture among the youth; selection of promising projects for the preparation of law-making initiatives; selection of promising works for participation in other competitions at the regional and federal levels. 

The participants of the Competition are students of colleges, technical schools, higher educational institutions, graduate students, applicants for a scientific degree, young scientists of universities, academic institutions of Russia and the CIS countries, as well as employees of other interested organizations aged 18 to 35 years.

Scientific essays for the Competition can only be submitted by individual authors. 

Scientific directions of the Competition:

1. " Realization and protection of the rights of citizens in the field of education ".
2. "Tactics of working with a client in human rights activities."
3. "Realization and protection of the rights of minors on the Internet". 

Applications for participation in the Competition and competition works (essays) are submitted until March 20^th, 2023 through the registration system of the site. 

The lists of the finalists of the competition invited to face-to-face defense of works and to participate in the final events of the Forum will be published on the competition page from 1^st to 10^th of April 2023 

Full-time defense will take place on April 26^th, 2022 from 10:30 to 13:00, awarding on April 27^th, 2023  from 12.30 to 14:00. 

The winners and prize-winners of the Competition are awarded with diplomas and special prizes:

• 1 st place - 7 thousand rubles .
• 2 nd place - 5 thousand rubles .
• 3 rd place - 3 thousand rubles . 

The winners of the Competition, awarded with the Diploma of the 1^st degree, are awarded points for individual achievements in admission to study at USUE for master's programs (2 points), bachelor 's programs (accelerated learning according to individual curricula - for graduates of colleges, technical schools) (5 points). 

Based on the results of the final events, it is planned to release a collection of abstracts of the Competition’s finalists with placement in the RSCI and on the websites of the Ural State University of Economics.
