International competition of applied projects «Eurasian Marketing Cup»

The international competition of applied projects “Eurasian Marketing Cup” (hereinafter referred to as the Cup) is held by the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “Ural State University of Economics” (Ural State University of Economics), the Department of Marketing and International Management in collaboration with the Ural representative office of the Association of Communication Agencies of Russia (AKAR Ural).

The purpose of the Cup: to identify and develop participants’ creative abilities and interest in applied and research activities, develop and realize the intellectual and creative potential of youth, popularize professional activities in the field of marketing, attract scientists and practitioners in relevant fields to work with youth, as well as the formation human resources for research and practical marketing activities.

Participants of the Cup are students, graduate students, young scientists of educational organizations, academic institutions and other interested organizations in Russia and foreign countries under the age of 35 (hereinafter referred to as the Participants). Works prepared by young scientists with an academic degree are not accepted for participation in the Cup.

The Cup is held among individual participants and teams of up to 3 people. There is no registration fee for participation in the Cup.

The number of teams from an organization is not limited. 

Competitive projects are presented to the Cup based on cases in the field of marketing activities assigned to participants.

Competition works are carried out in accordance with the technical specifications for cases developed jointly with the Cup Partners and assigned to the participants (teams) by the Organizer in the scope of the first stage of the Cup. 

The Cup is held in one category: “Best Applied Project”. 

Stages of participation in the Cup:





Until March 20



  1.  Individual participants and captains of participating teams register on the EEYF website (to complete pre-registration, individual participants and team captains attach empty files)

  • Distribution by the organizer of the Cup of technical tasks for performing applied competitive works by sending tasks to the email addresses of registered individual participants and captains of participating teams


Until March 20, 2024

  1. Solving case problems by participants in accordance with the distribution of the first stage
  2. Completed work, as well as abstracts, must be uploaded by team captains and individual participants by re-filling out the registration form on the EEYF website
  3. Registration of all team members on the EEYF website (to complete registration, team members attach empty files)


Until April 10, 2024

  • Determination of the Cup finalists by the expert commission, sending out invitations to the finalists to participate in the third stage
  • Publication of the list of finalists on the cup page on the EEYF website


April 24 – defense;

April 25 – award ceremony

  • Defense and presentation of competitive applied works of finalists
  • Determination of the Cup winners by an expert commission
  • Awarding of cup finalists and winners

*dates may be extended by decision of the EEYF Organizing Committee 

The winners and runners-up of the cup are awarded diplomas and cash prizes:

  • 1st place - 15 thousand rubles.
  • 2nd place - 10 thousand rubles.
  • 3rd place - 5 thousand rubles. 

Following the results of the Cup, a collection of abstracts of the finalists' works is published in the form of a chapter in the annual collection of materials of the EEYF. The collection of EEYF materials is posted in the RSCI and on the websites of USUE and EEYF
