The international competition of applied projects of young scientists and students “Applied IT solutions in science, business and government” is held in two stages: correspondence assessment and in-person defense of projects in the field of information technology for their application in the economy of the future, financial and industrial spheres, state and municipal management, science and education, as well as in management and international trade with countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America. The competition is held by the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "USUE" (Ural State University of Economics) in collaboration with the Crimean Federal University named after V.I. Vernadsky, Magnitogorsk State Technical University named after. G.I.Nosova, Chelyabinsk State University, CJSC PF SKB Kontur, SKB LAB, Target Games, Optima - PROMO, SMT LLC, Naumen, PROFIT LLC, HR - online center.

The purpose of the Competition: to promote the implementation of creative initiatives of young professionals in the field of analysis, design and development of information systems for the global economy, business, production, service sector and scientific activity.

Participants of the Competition: students, graduate students, applicants for an academic degree, young researchers at universities, academic institutions in Russia and foreign countries, as well as employees of other interested organizations aged 18 to 35 years.

Project work for the Competition can be submitted by individual authors or teams of up to 3 people.

Applications for participation in the Competition and competition works must be submitted until March 20, 2024. through the site registration system:

– an individual participant submits an application through the site’s registration system, selecting the “individual participant” category

– group participation. Each group member submits an application for participation through the site’s registration system. One of the participants chooses the category “team captain”, the others - “team member”. In the “Topic of work” field, everyone indicates the name of their project. The “team captain” attaches a file with the project to the registration form, where all the authors of the project are indicated. To complete registration, a “team member” attaches a file with the project topic and a list of authors.

Lists of competition finalists invited to present their works in person and to participate in the final events of the Forum will be published on the competition page from April 1 to April 10, 2024.

In-person defense will take place on April 24, 2024 from 10:30 to 15:30, awarding on April 25, 2024 from 13:30 to 15:00

The winners and runners-up of the Competition are awarded diplomas, orders and cash prizes:

• 15,000 rubles - for 1st place
• 10,000 rubles - for 2nd place
• 5,000 rubles - for 3rd place

The winners of the Competition, awarded a 1st degree Diploma, are awarded points for individual achievements when admitted to study at USUE in master's programs (2 points).

Participation in competitions is also possible using remote technologies - registered participants and experts gain access to USUE cloud resources based on the MS Office 365 platform and connect to interactive sessions during events through teams created in Microsoft Teams.
