The International Competition of Scientific Research Papers by Young Scientists and Students in a Foreign Language on the Topic of «Socio-Cultural Ties as the Basis for Trusting Relations in the Economy»

The International Competition of Research Works by Young Scientists and Students on the Topic of Socio-Cultural Ties as the Basis for Trust in Economics is organized by Ural State University of Economics in cooperation with Maxim Gómez Báez University (Siego de Avila, Cuba).
The aim of the competition is to identify and develop participants' creative skills and interest in research in the field of culture and its role in the national economy, promote scientific knowledge, and justify the importance of socio-cultural relations as a significant factor in the economic development of countries and regions.The competition is held to encourage young people to innovate and use the results of cultural and creative activities to expand and strengthen economic ties.
The competition is open to students, undergraduate and graduate students, young researchers, and academic professionals from universities and other institutions in Russia and abroad who are between the ages of 18 and 35.
Research papers are submitted for the competition in the following categories:
- Historical and cultural ties as a means to deepen mutual understanding and promote economic cooperation;
- The impact of Russian culture on socio-economic development in countries and regions.
Completed papers in a foreign language (English or Spanish), either individually or as part of a two-person team, are submitted for consideration.
Applications for participation, completed papers, and abstracts are submitted by March 20, 2025, through the registration system on the competition website.
The list of finalists, selected to present their papers in person and participate in the concluding events of the forum, will be announced on the competition's website from April 1-11, 2025.
Face-to-face presentations will take place on April 23 from 10:30-15:30 and awards will be presented on April 24 from 11:30-13:30.
The finals will take place in person, although in some cases, at the discretion of the organizing committee, remote participation may be possible. Registered participants and experts will have access to USUE's cloud resources via the Kontur Tolk platform, and they will be able to connect to interactive sessions during the events through teams established in Kontur Tolk.
The winners and prize–winners of the Competition are awarded with diplomas, orders and cash prizes:
- 15,000 rubles - for the 1st place
- 10,000 rubles – for the 2nd place
- 5,000 rubles – for the 3rd place
The winners of the competition, awarded with a Diploma of the 1st degree, are awarded points for individual achievements when applying to study at USUE for master's degree programs (2 points).
Following the results of the final events, it is planned to release a collection of materials of the XV EEYF, where the abstracts of the finalists of the competition will be posted. The collection will be posted at the RSCI, on the website of the Ural State University of Economics and on the EEYF website.
