International Competition of Scientific Research Projects by Young Scientists and Students on the Topic of «Accounting and Analytical Support for Entrepreneurial Activity in Russia and the Near and Far Abroad»

The Ural State University of Economics (USUE) is hosting the international competition of research projects for young scientists and students titled "Accounting and Analytical Support of Entrepreneurial Activity in Russia and the Countries of the Near and Far Abroad". JSC "Technology of Trust Audit" is a partner of this competition. 

The goal of the competition is to encourage young people to engage in scientific and practical research, enhance their research potential, and develop research skills in the fields of accounting, analysis, and audit. It also aims to increase the interest among young individuals in finding innovative ideas, solutions, and recommendations that can improve accounting, analysis, and auditing practices. Furthermore, the competition seeks to foster knowledge exchange, exchange of ideas, and sharing of research methods that are demanded by today's economic and business landscape. 

The participants of the competition are students (undergraduate and graduate) of higher education institutions, as well as young researchers without a degree from universities, research institutes, and other relevant organizations in Russia and abroad. Participants must be under the age of 25. 

Only individual authors are permitted to submit research papers for the competition. 

Research papers and projects submitted to the competition cover the following areas:

  1. Financial and management accounting as an information basis for assessing entrepreneurial activities in Russia, countries of the CIS, and far abroad;
  2. Analysis as a tool for business management in Russia, the CIS, and the far abroad;
  3. Auditing the quality of accounting and analytical support for business operations in Russia, Near and Far abroad countries. 

Applications for participation, competitive works, and abstracts must be submitted by March 20, 2025, through the registration system on the website. The lists of finalists who are invited to present their work and participate in the final events of the forum will be published from April 1 to 11, 2025 on the competition page.

Face-to-face presentations will take place on April 23 from 10:30-13:00, and awards will be presented on April 24 from 12:30-2:00 PM.

The winners and medalists of the competition are awarded with certificates and monetary prizes:

  • 15,000 rubles for first place
  • 10,000 rubles for second place
  • 5,000 rubles for third place 

Winners of the competition, awarded with a diploma of 1st degree, receive points for individual achievements when applying for admission to USUE master's programs - 2 points for master's and 5 points for bachelor's (accelerated study according to individual curricula - graduates of colleges, technical schools). 

Based on the results of the finals, it is planned to publish a collection of materials from the XIV EEYF, where the essays of the contestants will be published. The collection will be published on the RSCI website and the website of the Ural State University of Economics (available at https://science.usue.ru/en/nauchnye-meropriyatiya/sborniki-itogi).
