The International Online Olympiad is organized by Ural State University of Economics within the framework of the Congress of Economists and Financiers (EEYF). 

The aim of the Olympiad is to enhance the quality of students' professional training, further improve their skills and create a competitive atmosphere that promotes the development of participants' potential in the professional field. 

Participants in the Olympiad must be students, undergraduates, or postgraduates under 35 years of age who are interested in contemporary issues related to accounting and analytical support for management processes. 

Applications for the Olympiad can be submitted until March 20, 2025, through the registration system on the EEYF website. Participation is individual. 

The Olympiad final will be held remotely on the main day of the forum on April 23, 2025. Participants will take the test on a specialized Olympiad website. Prior to the event, the email address provided during registration on the EEYF website will be sent to the designated address of the specialized website containing instructions for completing the tasks. 

On the designated day, access to the test will be opened. Participants will have 40 minutes to complete the test, which consists of 30 questions. There will be only one attempt to pass. 

All tasks are designed to assess the performance of specific professional competencies related to the following disciplines: Accounting Theory, Organization Economics, Digitalization of Accounting, Taxes and Taxation, Economic Analysis, and Reference Legal Systems in Economics, among others. 

Based on the results of the competition, the winners and medalists of the Olympiad are determined in the overall ranking, who have taken 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, respectively, in terms of points scored. Additionally, the winners and medalists from foreign/regional locations who chose to participate in this Olympiad have also been identified. 

The list of the winners and medalists in the overall standing and the list of winners from foreign/regional sites are published on the Olympiad section of the EEYF website.

On April 24th, 2025, the award ceremony for the winners and medalists will take place in person at the USUE venue, as well as remotely at foreign/regional Olympiad sites via video conferencing.

Winners and medalists are awarded with certificates, medals, and cash prizes:

• 15,000 rubles for 1st place
• 10,000 rubles for the 2nd place
• 5,000 rubles for the 3rd place 

The winner of the Olympiad and holder of a Diploma of 1st Degree is awarded bonus points for individual academic achievement when applying to USUE for admission to master's programs (2 points).
