The International Online Olympiad "Economics and Finance of a Polycentric World" (hereinafter referred to as the Olympiad, Olympiad of the platform) is held at several platforms of the XIII Eurasian Economic Youth Forum (hereinafter XIII EEYF) as part of the Congress of Economists and Financiers.

The co-organizer of the Olympiad on the platform of the Republic of Kazakhstan is the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov, Astana

The purpose of the Olympiad is to increase the interest of the population in obtaining and increasing economic knowledge by revealing their abilities for economic analysis and inclination to economic thinking, making meta-subject connections between economic, political and social processes.
The participants of the Olympiad of the platform are students, undergraduates, graduate students, persons interested in modern problems of the economy and finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, under the age of 35.

Applications for participation in the Olympiad are accepted until March 20, 2023 through the registration system of the XIII EEFM website (eurasia-forum.ru), choosing during registration: Platform of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Astana - the name of the Competition (Olympiad).

Participation in the Olympics is individual. 

The final of the Olympiad is held remotely in the form of testing performed by the participants on the specialized website of the Olympiad. The e-mail address of the participant specified during registration on the EEFM website is sent in advance to the address of a specialized site, instructions for completing tasks.

On April 26, 2023, access to tasks opens. The duration of the test task is 60 minutes. Number of questions - 40. Number of attempts to pass - 1.

All tasks provide for the assessment of the fulfillment of professional competencies within the disciplines: "World Economy", "Foreign Economic Activity", "National Economy", "Regional Economy", "Macroeconomics", "Money, Credit, Banks", "Finance", "Political Science" etc. 

By the number of points scored among the participants from the platform of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the finalists who took from 1 to 5 places are determined. The list of platform finalists is published on the platform Olympiad page of the EEFM website on April 27, 2023.

The finalists of the Olympiad at the platform of the Republic of Kazakhstan are awarded with diplomas and small orders of the Star of Eurasia.

In the overall standings of the International Online Olympiad "Economics and Finance of a Polycentric World", the finalists who took the first 5 places are also determined. The list of finalists of the International Online Olympiad is published on the Olympiad page of the Congress of Economists and Financiers of the EEFM website.

The winner and prize-winners in the overall standings of the Olympiad are awarded with diplomas, orders and cash prizes:

• 15 000 rubles - for 1 place
• 10,000 rubles - for 2nd place
• 5,000 rubles - for 3rd place

The awarding of all finalists will take place on April 27, 2023 simultaneously via video conferencing at USUE and at the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov, Astana (the time of awarding will be announced later).

The winner of the Olympiad, awarded with a Diploma of the 1st degree, is awarded points for individual achievements when admitted to study at USUE for master's programs (2 points).
